The Turner Dreadnought is amongst the most popular steel string acoustic guitars in our range. An iconic and instantly recognisable body shape offering deep bass and full mids together with clear highs, a Turner Dreadnought will sit perfectly under vocals or in a band.
Featured here is the Turner 60 CE. We paired together tonewoods that just sound fantastic, using a clear and articulate solid spruce top together with stunning flame maple back and sides. Maple offers very clear fundamentals and chiming treble. A dense hardwood sometimes perceived as tonally ‘bright’, the maple 60 Series will cut through clearly in any live band or group setting. Visually stunning, the flamed-maple back and sides each exhibit unique depth and texture.
With offset pearl fret markings on a bound rosewood fingerboard, the traditional 3 ring soundhole rosette and understated decorations keep the focus on the finish quality and gorgeous wood choices of these instruments. These guitars sound incredible amplified, thanks to their Fishman under saddle pickup and Isys+ preamp system with two band EQ, feedback cancelling “Phase” switch and built in tuner. There’s also a smooth cutaway which allows easy access to the upper frets.
