Since the 1930's Jumbo guitars have been making themselves heard. Turner Jumbo's are great for strummers who appreciate sheer projection that is without doubt 'loud' but also refined enough to maintain the full depth of a dreadnought combined with the extra bass created by the larger size of the guitars 430mm lower bout.
Featured here is the Turner 35 CE utilizing quality tonewoods in this case a solid spruce top paired with mahogany back and sides. Mahogany offers amazing mid range frequencies and is a well balanced tonewood with cool overtones.
From custom hand scalloped bracing to stylish body binding and concentric-ring rosettes - the Turner 30 series are quality instruments. Offset pearl fret markers and custom solid rosewood bridge complete the asthetics, and when paired with a state-of-the-art onboard electronic system utilising the Fishman Isys+ system (including an in built guitar tuner) a true acoustic tone will be delivered either in the studio or playing live, simply unplugged these guitars sound great!
What a beauty - the colour of the rosewood is dark and deep & looks lovely. The neck is very comfortable indeed and a low action makes it a very easy guitar to play. I love the headstock shape and the 45mm nut width is perfect for me as I fingerpick most of the time. The onboard tuner works great! Model: Turner 72 CE- Bob Smith
