If a heavy bass and rich treble, a big sound and ease of playing are something that appeal? Then you are going to love our Parlour size guitar. Small but with a resonant deep body, this model is such a convenient size & great to play - keep it around the house or studio, quickly grab and play anytime!
Featured here is the Turner 40-00 Parlour Guitar utilizing quality tonewoods in this case a solid spruce top paired with 'Ovangkol' back and sides. Ovangkol whilst tonally similar sounding to rosewood offers a slightly 'fuller' midrange voice, ovangkol has a high end that is not quite as bright as maple. Always popular amongst Turner Guitar players the 40 series are real 'lookers' and do stand out from the crowd. This model sounds particularly good for blues and fingerpicking styles.
From custom hand scalloped bracing to stylish body binding and concentric-ring rosettes the Turner 40 series are quality instruments. Offset pearl fret markers and Turner 'custom' solid rosewood bridge complete the asthetics.
What a beauty - the colour of the rosewood is dark and deep & looks lovely. The neck is very comfortable indeed and a low action makes it a very easy guitar to play. I love the headstock shape and the 45mm nut width is perfect for me as I fingerpick most of the time. The onboard tuner works great! Model: Turner 72 CE- Bob Smith
